“Money Talks. We Translate.” was Moneyfesting’s first project—and thus the beginning of a journey that originally existed only as an idea in my head.
This launch also marked the brand’s first photo shoot. Looking back, it was an unforgettable time, filled with new experiences, challenges, and encounters. I learned an incredible amount during this phase and met people who accompanied and supported me through these first steps.
The photo shoot took place in Dresden and marked the starting point for everything that was to follow. After the release, the shirt received a lot of positive feedback, and the first orders came in. For a brand that had just been created, this meant more than numbers could ever express.
The marketing was also handled entirely on our own. From posters around the city to spontaneous photos with strangers on the street—every action was an attempt to spread the idea of Moneyfesting. It wasn’t just about selling clothes, but about conveying a message and reaching people.
The shirt itself had an oversized fit and featured a screen-printed design on the front. The motif depicted a blurred figure alongside the slogan “Money Talks. We Translate.”—a design that reflected the creative and experimental spirit of the brand in its early days.
Today, this project serves as a reminder of how it all began: with little experience, limited resources, and a vision. A single T-shirt became the first step on the path to something bigger. That’s how the story of Moneyfesting began.
